1. What's the Cost?
   R 350.00 / month
   R 1 500.00 set up fee
2. What does that include?
   The use of the software
   1 style sheet for mailing
   Multiple web pages to publish too.
   250 newsletters distributed
3. Are there other costs associated with it?
   Yes, additional style sheets are R50 each / month (no set up fee)
   The link tracking is an additional R300 / month
   Mailing is bandwidth dependant and is approx R3-4.00 / 25 newsletters mailed. If you mail out more than 10 000 newsletters / month we will negotiate a better rate.
4. How secure or private is my distribution list?
   Your list remains wholly owned by you and DataPro adhere to strict confidentiality agreements and cannot give or sell your database to anyone.
   The server is secured behind a firewall in our hosting zone………….
5. How do I access the product?
   On the Internet www.newsmanager.co.za with a login user name and password.
6. Do I have to host my site with DataPro?
   No
7. Can I publish to someone else's website - not hosted with DataPro?
   Yes with their permission - They need to incorporate some code into their site.
8. Is there licensing fee?
   No
9. How much skill do I need to use the product?
   No HTML or coding skills are necessary but you do need to be computer literate.
10. Is training included in the cost?
    Yes for one / two people and we supply a user guide and there is phone support.
11. How difficult is it to use?
    Once we have set it up with the style sheets and distribution lists etc it is easy to maintain, it may take some time initially to set it up from scratch but no coding skills are required.
12. Can you have many clients on one News Manager?
    Yes the product allows for
    Multiple style sheets
    Multiple distribution groups
    Partitioning of your database for search purposes
13. Does DataPro supply a database of emails addresses for marketing purposes?
    No - you need to supply your own list.
14. How do we address the spamming issue?
    We have an acceptable use policy and the News Manager handles the subscribe and unsubscribe process for you
15. Does it mail off DataPro's servers?
    Yes
16. Do we get a list of failed mails?
    Yes - in a text file
17. What option do we have for companies that do not support HTML email?
    We support text only emails too
18. What is the cost of mailing out the newsletters?
    The costs are approx R2 - R4 / MB used and you can mail approx 25 - 30 newsletters / MB
19. How do we know how many mails have been sent?
    It displays it on the list newsletter page once they have been sent - you also can see what groups you sent them to.
20. What is link tracking?
    We can tell you who clicked on what link and at what time.
21. If I did not initially have a persons email address and they view the email, can I get their email address of they click on a link?
    No - we can only tell you about your existing distribution base.
22. Can I get a login to a demo site?
    Yes - login with user name: clientdemo password = password - You can view the results of your pages published on the Newsmanager site - see Sample Sites /Client Demo
23. Can I update small areas of a website and not the whole page?
    Yes, if you insert the code into a table on your website - www.datapro.co.za Home page / "What's new at DataPro" is an example of this.
24. When do the mails go out?
    At night between 6.00pm and 6.00am
